Here they are... the essay competition winners 2020!
In the fifth annual essay competition on Kids World Travel Guide, we received entries from over 30 countries! We had an extremely tough two weeks in reading, shortlisting and discussing the many excellent essays until we agreed on the finalists and the winners for each category.
Congratulations to our awesome prize-winners! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful essays! And a huge Thank You to all who participated this year and made this competition such a success!
Be assured that we value all your entries and efforts, even if your entry did not make it into the final round. This year the high number of excellent essays was truly astonishing and thus we decided to also honour many of your essays that we will link from the respective country pages. So keep a look out for your essay or name mentioned on specific country pages in the next weeks and months.

Thank you for your wonderful essays, many were sent in from learners with English as Second Language or English as Foreign Language. There were so many impressive essays which show there is a lot of creative writing talent out there and we are sure our readers will enjoy reading their essays too. All the award winning essays have now been added, so you can share your awesome achievement with your family and friends as well.
